Homeware & Lifestyle Objects

A multi-disciplinary collection of homeware and lifestyle objects, which strives to produce and look at homeware from a sentimental design philosophy. Inspired by the imagination of how indigenous people of Africa would have been impacted by the evolution of design in the modern/ contemporary world. My collection has a greater base of ceramics. Conceptually crafted to reference imperfect and impermanent organic shapes, reminiscent to how our indigenous people applied design techniques. I named this collection The Reverency, which is an extension to the word ‘Reverence: ‘A deep respect for a place or physical space,” in the context of a home or Interior design. The collection will continue to boastfully celebrate an African themed Artistic Direction, permanently striving to make African Design Glamorous & Elegant, as it should be.
